Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 1-day assignment in California, commencing Aug 18, 2026. This full-time role operates from 8:00am to 5:00pm and involves comprehensive patient visits, including checkups, screenings, vaccinations, chronic condition management, and acute care services such as suturing and reading EKGs. The Physician Assistant will serve a diverse patient population within a multi-specialty clinic environment, providing essential care to the Medi-Cal community and Medicare patients.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform patient visits, including checkups, screenings, and vaccinations.
  • Utilize on-site lab for follow up and prescriptions.
  • Manage family care, chronic condition management, and wellness, particularly for the Medi-Cal community, servicing 80% Medicare patients as well as Imperial Health Insurance (IEHP).
  • Provide care to Rural Health patients of all ages within a multi-specialty acute full scope primary care Family practice setting.
  • Address acute care cases such as suturing, splinting, reading EKGs and X-rays, nose bleeds, and biopsies.
  • Manage a patient panel typically ranging from 25-30 patients per day, accommodating walk-ins and cancellations, with on-site lab support.
