Job Description

Our client in California is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician Assistant for a 120-day assignment starting Jul 20, 2026. This role involves managing a daily patient load of 15-20 individuals, providing care for a range of cases including physicals, health assessments, and common ailments, with daily shifts from 9:00am to 5:00pm. A critical aspect of this position is working with a Chinese population, requiring fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese to ensure effective patient communication.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage a daily patient load of 15-20 individuals
  • Collaborate with an internal team of specialists for patient referrals
  • Provide care for physicals and health assessments
  • Address cold, flu, and suspected COVID-19 symptoms
  • Treat sore throats, coughs, and earaches
  • Manage nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea
  • Evaluate and treat back pain and minor sprains
  • Diagnose and treat urinary tract infections (UTIs)
  • Communicate effectively with a Chinese patient population, requiring proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese
