Job Description

We are seeking an Internal Medicine Physician Assistant for a 130-day locum tenens assignment starting Aug 3, 2026, in Virginia. This role involves managing a patient volume of 18–22 patients per day, including 20-minute follow-ups and 20–30-minute new patient/complicated follow-ups, with a focus on primary care urology. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage a patient volume of 18–22 patients per day
  • Conduct follow-up appointments typically lasting 20 minutes
  • Handle new patient visits and complicated follow-ups within 20–30 minutes
  • Provide primary care urology services, including management of UTIs, testosterone therapy, prostate enlargement, overactive bladder, sexual dysfunction, and elevated PSA evaluations
  • Collaborate with a supportive team, including full-time Medical Assistants, an on-site Nurse Practitioner, and an on-site Physician
