We are seeking a Physician specializing in Neonatology for a 36-day assignment in Pennsylvania. This role involves 24-hour in-house shifts, including daily rounds, delivery room coverage, prenatal consults as needed, and support of transport services. The schedule is split between hospital day shifts (8:30a-4:30p) and in-house call (4:30p-8:30a), focusing on a full range of Level 3 NICU patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties
Perform endotracheal intubation
Execute umbilical line placement
Perform chest tube placement
Provide NRP (routine NICU procedures)
Offer 24-hour NICU in-house coverage
Conduct daily rounds for patients during daytime coverage (0830-1630)
Provide delivery room coverage as needed
Offer prenatal consults as needed
Support transport services
Provide ongoing care and management of NICU patients during nighttime coverage (1630-0830)
