Job Description

Our client in Massachusetts is seeking a Surgery - Neurological Physician Assistant for a 36-day assignment starting Sep 7, 2026. This role involves inpatient neurosurgery, where you will manage patient care by rounding with residents, reviewing and placing orders, and handling discharges during standard 3-day shifts, from 6:00 to 19:00. This is a patient care-focused position, with no operating room involvement.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Start each day by rounding with residents to establish patient care plans.
  • Review patient orders and enter them into the system.
  • Conduct patient visits for those requiring immediate attention.
  • Focus on managing patient orders and facilitating discharges.
  • Provide dedicated inpatient neurosurgical patient care, without participation in the operating room.
