Locum Tenens Physician - OB/GYN Needed in New Mexico

We are seeking a Physician specializing in Obstetrics/Gynecology for a 59-day assignment in New Mexico, starting Sep 27, 2024. This role involves varied 24-hour call coverage and M-F clinic shifts, where you will provide comprehensive OB/GYN care, manage a diverse range of cases, and perform both routine and complex procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide 24-hour call coverage.
• Conduct M-F 8a-5pm clinic shifts.
• Manage both OB and GYN cases.
• Perform FHR interpretation and OB ultrasounds, including performance and interpretation for level 1/screening.
• Conduct Amniocentesis.
• Handle routine and complicated deliveries.
• Perform repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations.
• Manage office, minor gynecology, and surgical gynecology cases.

Additional Information

• Required Board Certifications: Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Other Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
• Laser certification preferred.
• EMR System: Epic.
• Setting: Clinic and Call.
• Call Schedule: Yes, 24-hour call coverage (8a-8a shifts).
• Patient Volume: 1-5 deliveries per week.
• LOA: 59 Days.
• Staffing Mix: 2 OBGYNs, 1 PRN APP, MA, RN, and a care manager.
