Locum Tenens Physician - OB/GYN Needed in New Mexico

Our client in New Mexico is actively seeking an OB/GYN Physician for a 60-day assignment. The schedule for this role features a Monday through Friday clinic presence, alongside 24-hour call duties commencing at 7am. This position involves providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care, encompassing the management of various pregnancies, performing deliveries, and executing related diagnostic and procedural tasks.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage low risk pregnancy cases
• Manage high risk pregnancy cases
• Perform FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE
• Perform and interpret OB Ultrasounds
• Conduct Level I/Screening (viability) ultrasounds
• Conduct Level II/Targeted (anatomic) ultrasounds
• Perform Amniocentesis
• Perform routine vaginal deliveries
• Utilize low forceps for deliveries
• Make decisions for c-section procedures
• Manage complicated deliveries
• Perform C-sections
• Manage breech presentations
• Oversee multiple births
• Address abruptions
• Manage VBACs
• Repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
