Locum Tenens Physician - OB/GYN Needed in South Carolina

Our client is seeking an experienced Physician specializing in Obstetrics/Gynecology for a 90-day assignment in South Carolina. This role involves a blend of clinic and inpatient duties, including C-sections, deliveries, routine appointments, and occasional GYN procedures. The schedule typically involves two weeks per month, with Monday through Thursday clinic hours from 8:30 AM to 5 PM, Friday 8:30 AM to 12 PM, and 24-hour call shifts.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage a mix of clinic and call coverage/inpatient responsibilities
• Attend C-sections and deliveries, alongside routine clinic appointments
• Handle occasional GYN procedures and consultations in the emergency room

Additional Information

• Board Certifications: Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Other Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
• EMR: Athenahealth, Meditech EHR
• Work Setting: Clinic and Call
• Call Schedule: Out of House Call
• Patients Per Day: 15-25 in clinic, 2 OB average daily census, 540 annual deliveries
