Locum Tenens Physician - Optometrist Needed in California

Our client in California is seeking a skilled Optometrist for a 60-day assignment. This full-time, Monday to Friday role involves performing comprehensive eye exams, conducting yearly check-ups, and diagnosing and treating various vision conditions in an outpatient clinic setting. The ideal candidate will provide essential optometric care to a diverse patient population.

Additional Information

• Board Certified in Optometry
• EMR: Epic
• Outpatient clinic setting
• No call required
• Patient volume: 20-25 per day
• LOA: 60 days
• Patient population includes 75% Spanish speakers, supported by translators and Spanish-speaking MAs
• Support staff includes patient schedulers, 1-2 MAs, and additional support staff, with a Medical Director available via phone
