Locum Tenens Physician - Optometrist Needed in North Carolina

We are seeking an Optometrist for a 120-day assignment in North Carolina. The schedule offers flexibility, typically Monday through Friday with flexible start times between 7 AM and 9 AM, and the option to work four days per week for three weeks out of the month. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive eye exams, diagnose and treat ocular diseases, prescribe and adjust eyewear, and advise patients on follow-up care within assisted living and nursing home settings.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct comprehensive eye exams
• Diagnose and treat ocular diseases
• Prescribe, fit, and adjust eyeglasses
• Advise patients, families, and facilities on follow-up care
• Prescribe antibiotics only as needed
• Visit patients within assisted living and nursing facilities
