Job Description

We are seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon Physician for a 70-day assignment in Oregon, commencing Dec 7, 2026. This role involves 24-hour call coverage from 7a-7a, with primary duties including seeing orthopedic cases, managing ER orthopedic calls, and providing onsite responses or exams as needed.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide orthopedic surgery care for various cases
  • Manage emergency room call for orthopedic surgery from 7a-7a
  • Respond to an average of 5-8 phone calls leading to 1-2 surgical cases
  • Conduct onsite responses or exams for patients who may not require surgery


Additional Information

  • Required Board Certifications: Orthopaedic Surgery
  • EMR System: Epic
  • Work Setting: Inpatient / ER
  • Call Schedule: 24-hour call, 7a-7a; Physician Assistants also on call
  • Patient Volume: Average of 5-8 phone calls leading to 1-2 cases and typically one additional onsite response or exam
  • An Oregon license can be obtained after the initial offer, provided it can be acquired quickly
