We are seeking an experienced Physician - Pediatric Hospitalist for a 16-day assignment in Oregon, starting Oct 5, 2024. The schedule involves multiple blocks of 24-hour call shifts, requiring attendance at deliveries, intubating babies, and rounding from 7 AM to 11 AM, while overseeing 2 neonatal beds and up to 15 mother/baby rooms.
Responsibilities and Duties
Manage two neonatal beds for babies requiring advanced care or close observation
Oversee up to 15 mother/baby rooms
Intubate babies and attend deliveries
Provide level 1 and some level 2 nursery care
Conduct rounding from 7 AM to 11 AM

Requirements: Provider needs to have some Pediatric Critical Care experience
Setting: Inpatient
Call Schedule: 24-hour out of house call
Patient Volume: Deliveries per month range from 30-60

Staffing Mix: Support staff includes registered nurses trained in normal newborn care and NRP, with additional registered nurses trained in advanced nursery care, including level 2 skills such as CPAP
