Job Description

We are actively seeking a dedicated Physician specializing in Pediatrics for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Oklahoma, commencing Aug 1, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive 24-hour call coverage for the nursery, managing a patient volume of approximately 7 per shift within a 15-bed department, and performing essential pediatric procedures like non-invasive ventilation management for newborns, intubation, UVC/UAC, and needle pneumothorax decompression.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide 24-hour call coverage for the nursery
  • Manage a patient volume of approximately 7 per shift in a department
  • Perform Non-Invasive Ventilation Management (neo-puff)
  • Perform Acute Ventilation Management (Newborn)
  • Perform Intubation (ETT/NT) Newborn
  • Perform UVC procedures
  • Perform UAC procedures
  • Perform Needle Pneumothorax Decompression
  • Perform Chest Tube Insertion (Preferred)
  • Perform Suturing Minor Lacerations (Preferred)
  • Perform Circumcision (Preferred)
