Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Psychiatry Needed in Wisconsin

Our client in Wisconsin is seeking a Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner for a 23-day assignment starting Oct 28, 2026. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch. In this role, you will provide comprehensive clinical coverage for the assigned inpatient behavioral health census, managing approximately 8–12 patient encounters, including psychiatric follow-ups, new admissions, discharges, and urgent clinical evaluations.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive clinical coverage for the assigned inpatient behavioral health census. On a typical full-census day, the APP should be capable of managing approximately 8–12 patient encounters, including psychiatric follow-ups, new admissions, discharges, and urgent clinical evaluations, while completing all required documentation and participating in interdisciplinary treatment planning. Productivity expectations will be adjusted based on patient acuity, admissions/discharges, clinical emergencies, staffing, and other patient-care responsibilities. Patient safety and quality of care take precedence over encounter volume.
