Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Psychiatry Needed in Rhode Island

We are seeking a Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner for an engaging 65-day assignment in Rhode Island. This role involves providing comprehensive inpatient civil and forensic psychiatric care during standard 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM shifts, managing patients with schizophrenia, mental health disorders, and various personality disorders.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide inpatient civil and forensic psychiatric care.
• Manage patients with schizophrenia, mental health disorders, and personality disorders.
• Care for patients with serious and persistent mental illness who are incompetent to stand trial.
• Offer psychiatric care to patients found not guilty by reason of insanity and deemed unsafe for release.
• Address the needs of incarcerated individuals requiring specialized psychiatric care not available in correctional settings.
