Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Wound Care Nurse Practitioner for a 6-day assignment with our client in California, starting Jul 8, 2026. This role involves a minimum of 3 hours per day, focusing on comprehensive wound assessments, wound staging, and various wound care procedures, including grafting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with grafting techniques and adept at providing detailed documentation for tracking patient progression.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Be comfortable with grafting techniques
• Perform comprehensive wound assessments
• Conduct wound staging, including pressure injuries stages 1–4, unstageable, and deep tissue injuries
• Measure wounds for length, width, and depth
• Identify wound etiology
• Perform photographic documentation for tracking progression
• Evaluate skin integrity
• Identify infection, necrosis, or delayed healing
