Our client in California is seeking a Wound Care Physician Assistant for a 6-day assignment starting Jul 8, 2026. This role involves working a minimum of 3 hours per day, focusing on comprehensive wound assessments, staging, and documentation, with a specific need for expertise in grafting.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform comprehensive wound assessments, including grafting.
• Conduct wound staging for various types, such as pressure injuries (stages 1–4, unstageable, deep tissue injuries).
• Execute wound measurements (length, width, depth).
• Identify wound etiology.
• Maintain photographic documentation for tracking progression.
• Evaluate skin integrity.
• Identify signs of infection, necrosis, or delayed healing.
