Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Wound Care Physician Assistant for a 5-day assignment in California, commencing Jul 13, 2026. This role offers flexible scheduling during regular business hours, with options for 1, 2, or 3 days per week depending on experience. The primary focus of this assignment involves patient care, with a key requirement for experience in misting (UltraMIST), alongside performing comprehensive wound assessments and managing various wound care duties.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform comprehensive wound assessments.
• Conduct wound staging for pressure injuries (stages 1–4, unstageable, deep tissue injuries).
• Measure wounds (length, width, depth).
• Identify wound etiology.
• Utilize photographic documentation for tracking wound progression.
• Evaluate skin integrity.
• Identify infection, necrosis, or delayed healing.
• Manage a patient volume of approximately 4 patients per day.
• Be flexible to manage additional patients as needed by staff.
• The primary requirement is experience with misting (UltraMIST).
