Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology Needed in NC

Job Description

We are seeking a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day assignment in North Carolina, starting Jul 1, 2026. This role involves 7p-7a shifts, focusing on daily patient rounding, comprehensive patient management including notes and orders, performing procedures in the ICU such as arterial and central line placements, cardioversion, and conducting new consults with an attending Physician.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Round daily on all floor level of care patients admitted to or seen in consultation on the general cardiology service line.
• Write daily progress notes, event notes, admission H&Ps, new consult notes, and discharging summaries.
• Order medications, testing, and procedures when indicated.
• Perform procedures in the ICU when indicated, including arterial line placement, central line placement, and cardioversion.
• Perform new consults with attending Physician.
