Our client in Maryland is seeking an Anesthetist for a 104-day assignment, preferably working four 10-hour shifts each week. This role involves providing ongoing full-time equivalent coverage, managing a diverse caseload encompassing general surgery, urology, orthopedics, OB, and GYN cases, and applying strong epidural skills within a dynamic surgery center environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide ongoing weekly full-time equivalent coverage.
Administer anesthesia for a range of cases including general surgery, urology, orthopedics, OB, and GYN.
Demonstrate strong epidural skills.
Manage a standard caseload typical of a community hospital setting, avoiding cardiac surgery and interventional neuro.
Work preferences include four 10-hour shifts each week; three 12-hour or five 8-hour shifts may also be considered.
Shift hours are from 7am to 5pm.
