Locum Tenens CRNA - VA Needed in Virginia

Our client is seeking an experienced CRNA for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Virginia. This role requires working an off-site night schedule from 7 PM to 7 AM, seven days a week, with in-house shifts on Saturdays and Sundays from 7 AM to 7 PM. Responsibilities include conducting preoperative assessments, developing individualized anesthesia plans, administering and monitoring anesthesia during surgical procedures, managing airways, ventilation, hemodynamics, and fluid requirements, providing anesthesia coverage for trauma, OB, and complex surgical cases, performing regional blocks, and managing postoperative pain.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct preoperative assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
• Administer and monitor anesthesia throughout surgical procedures.
• Manage airways, ventilation, hemodynamics, and fluid requirements.
• Provide anesthesia coverage for trauma, OB, and complex surgical cases.
• Perform regional blocks and postoperative pain management.
• Coordinate patient recovery and provide postoperative handoffs.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff to ensure safe patient care.
