Job Description

Our client in Florida is actively seeking a skilled Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a 6-day assignment starting Jul 22, 2026. This vital role involves 24-hour call for cardiothoracic surgery, daily rounds on post-operative patients, managing emergency calls and procedures, and handling a wide range of emergent CVT cases, including aortic valve replacements and CABG. The schedule primarily consists of call and rounds.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide 24-hour call coverage for Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• Conduct rounds on patients post-operation and follow-ups as needed.
• Respond to and manage emergency calls and procedures.
• Handle all aspects of emergent CVT cases.
• Perform procedures including Aortic Valve Replacements, CABG, TAVR, Aortic Aneurysm Repair, and Heart Valve Surgery.
• Maintain accurate case logs for heart and thoracic cases.
