Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Surgery - Cardiovascular & Thoracic Needed in West Virginia

Our client in West Virginia seeks a dedicated Nurse Practitioner specializing in Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery for an 84-day assignment. This role offers a flexible schedule of 7o/7off or 14o/14 off, including Monday-Friday 8 AM-5 PM shifts with night and 24-hour weekend call. Responsibilities include CVT Surgery first assist with vein harvesting, inpatient rounding, and outpatient clinic duties.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform CVT Surgery first assist with vein harvesting.
• Manage inpatient rounding responsibilities.
• Conduct outpatient clinic duties.
• Adhere to a schedule of 7 on / 7 off or 14 on / 14 off.
• Work Monday-Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, including night call and 24-hour weekend call.

Additional Information

• Board Certifications: Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC), Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification - Adult Gerontology (ACNPC-AG).
• Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS).
• EMR: Epic.
• Setting: Clinic and Call.
• Call Schedule: Out of house call.
• Patient Volume: 14-16 patients per day.
• LOA: 84 Days.
• Staffing Mix: The client is actively working on establishing the staffing mix.
