Our client in North Carolina is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery Physician Assistant for a 56-day assignment. This role involves collaborating with CT and Vascular Surgeons on a schedule open to Monday-Friday or potentially 14 on/14 off, with shifts typically from 7a-3/4p. The Physician Assistant will manage CVT and Vascular Surgery cases in an inpatient setting and be comfortable working with and teaching a new APP.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Collaborate closely with CT and Vascular Surgeons.
- Provide care for CVT Surgery and Vascular Surgery patients.
- Mentor and educate a new Advanced Practice Provider.
Additional Information
- Board Certifications: Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC)
- Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
