Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Critical Care Medicine Needed in PA

Job Description

Our client in Pennsylvania is actively seeking a Critical Care Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 90-day assignment starting Nov 3, 2026. This role involves managing HVI CCU patients under intensivist guidance. The schedule includes three 13-hour shifts per week, covering day, night, weekend, and holiday rotations, encompassing daily rounding, patient management, order entry, admissions, post-operative management, and various procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Primarily manage HVI CCU patients under the guidance of our Intensivist
• Perform daily rounding and patient management
• Handle order entry and patient admissions
• Provide post-operative management
• Execute procedures including arterial lines, central lines, swan ganz catheter placement, and IABP removal

Additional Information

• EMR System: Cerner
• Shift hours: Three 13-hour shifts (7am - 8pm or 7pm - 8am) per week, including night shift, weekends, and holidays
