Locum Tenens Physician - Family Practice Needed in AZ

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician for a 200-day assignment in Arizona, starting Oct 5, 2026. The schedule involves Monday through Friday shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, where you will provide 100% outpatient primary care and urgent care services. This includes managing preventive medicine, chronic diseases, and acute illnesses, ensuring comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide 100% outpatient care, encompassing primary care and same-day/urgent care services.
• Manage a diverse patient population for preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and acute illnesses.
• Perform annual physicals, adult medicine, pediatric care (as appropriate), and women's health services.
• Address urgent care needs such as upper respiratory infections, flu/COVID, UTIs, lacerations, rashes, minor injuries, abscesses, and minor procedures.
• Ensure all documentation is completed accurately before the end of each shift.

Additional Information

• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics.
• Experience with RPMS electronic medical records.
