Locum Tenens Physician - Family Practice Needed in Hawaii

We are seeking a dedicated Family Physician for a 60-day assignment in Hawaii. Our client is looking for a professional to manage routine exams, acute care, and chronic disease conditions, while also performing minor procedures such as stitches and addressing skin issues. The schedule involves clinic and call from Wednesday to Saturday, with 24-hour call on Sunday, ensuring Mondays and Tuesdays are call-free. This role requires stabilizing and transporting patients to the nearest ER as needed, along with medication dispensary duties.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct routine examinations and provide acute care
• Manage chronic disease conditions
• Perform minor procedures including stitches and addressing skin issues
• Provide breathing treatments
• Stabilize and transport patients to the nearest ER when necessary
• Dispense medications

• Setting: Clinic and Call
• Call Schedule: Out of House Call. Wednesday through Saturday clinic and call, Sunday 24-hour call, no call on Mondays and Tuesdays. May be on call Christmas Eve and Day.
• Patients Per Day: 16-18
• LOA: 60 Days
• Staffing Mix: Support staff includes seasoned, well-trained MAs and RNs and one other provider (FNP or MD)
