Locum Tenens Physician - Family Practice Needed in New York

We are seeking a dedicated Physician specializing in Family Practice for a 120-day assignment in New York. This role involves comprehensive primary care at an outpatient clinic, working Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with approximately 4–5 weeks of call per year from 4:30 PM to 7:00 AM. The successful candidate will manage a scheduled patient panel, focusing on acute cases, routine visits, and preventive care in a single-provider setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive primary care to an adult patient population in a rural outpatient clinic.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses such as colds, coughs, and flu.
• Manage chronic diseases and provide preventive care, including routine physical examinations and wellness visits.
• Conduct patient education and counseling, ensuring effective care coordination and follow-up management.
• Operate as the sole provider on-site, supported by a nurse and medical assistant.
• See scheduled patients only, with no walk-ins, utilizing a 15, 30, or 45-minute appointment schedule.
• Cover outpatient call as scheduled, approximately 4–5 weeks per year.
