Job Description

Our client in Texas is seeking a General Surgeon for a 60-day assignment beginning Aug 10, 2026. This Physician will manage a Monday-Friday 8 AM-5 PM schedule complemented by nighttime ER call, focusing on a diverse range of surgical cases including colonoscopy, endoscopy, wound care, and various abdominal and soft tissue procedures.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform colonoscopy and endoscopy procedures
  • Provide wound care and debridement
  • Execute abscess or fluid incision and drainage
  • Address gallstones and perform gallbladder removals, including laparoscopic procedures
  • Conduct soft tissue tumor removals
  • Manage hemorrhoids and provide colorectal cancer screening
