Job Description

Our client in Ohio is actively seeking a skilled Hospitalist Physician for a 90-day assignment beginning Oct 5, 2026. This vital role involves managing varied shifts, encompassing both 7a-7p and 7p-7a schedules. The Physician will be responsible for a comprehensive range of obstetric duties, including routine and complicated deliveries, decision-making for C-sections, VBACs, and the repair of 3rd and 4th-degree lacerations, ensuring high-quality patient care.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform routine deliveries including vaginal and low forceps
  • Make decisions for C-section procedures
  • Manage complicated deliveries such as C-section, breech, multiple births, and abruptions
  • Conduct VBACs
  • Repair 3rd and 4th-degree lacerations
  • Care for high and low risk pregnancy cases


Additional Information

  • Required Board Certifications: Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • EMR: Epic
  • Average Number of Scheduled Patients Per Day: 4 inductions, 1-2 C/S across clinic and private
