Job Description

Our client is seeking an Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 130-day assignment in Virginia, commencing Aug 3, 2026. This role involves a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule. The successful candidate will manage 18–22 patients daily, primarily focusing on general urology primary care, including conditions like UTIs, testosterone therapy, and prostate enlargement, with support from full-time MAs.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage a patient volume of 18–22 patients per day.
  • Conduct follow-up appointments (approximately 20 minutes) and new patient/complicated follow-ups (20–30 minutes).
  • Provide primary care urology services, addressing conditions such as UTIs, testosterone therapy, prostate enlargement, overactive bladder, sexual dysfunction, and elevated PSA evaluations.
  • Work in an environment with full-time Medical Assistants and an on-site NP (5 days/week) and MD (1–2 days/week).
  • Willingness to train in urology-focused primary care is acceptable; no specialized urology background is required.
