Job Description

Our client in Kansas is seeking a Physician specializing in Medical Oncology for an impactful 60-day assignment starting Oct 5, 2026. This role involves a Monday through Friday schedule, from 8 AM to 5 PM, focusing on comprehensive patient care including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and managing toxicities for various oncologic and hematologic conditions.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage chemotherapy (IV/oral), including ordering and toxicity management
  • Administer immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormonal therapy
  • Participate in clinical trials
  • Provide growth factor support (e.g., Neulasta, Epogen)
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of hematologic conditions such as Lymphoma (Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin), Leukemias (ALL, AML, CLL, CML), Multiple Myeloma, Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS), Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (MPNs), Aplastic Anemia, Sickle Cell Anemia, and Coagulopathies (e.g., hemophilia, DVT/PE management)
  • Manage benign hematology cases including anemia, thrombocytopenia, and leukopenia
  • Treat various malignancies including Lung (NSCLC, SCLC), Colorectal, Prostate, Pancreatic, Gynecologic (ovarian, cervical, endometrial), Head & Neck, Melanoma, and other skin cancers


Additional Information

  • Board Certifications required in Hematology and Medical Oncology
  • EMR System: Meditech EHR
