Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Psychiatry Needed in Nebraska

Our client in Nebraska is seeking a Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner for a 126-day assignment. This role involves a Monday through Friday schedule, from 8am to 5pm, dedicating 32 hours to patient care and 8 hours to administrative tasks weekly. The successful candidate will manage new patient appointments typically lasting 60-90 minutes and follow-up appointments for established patients lasting 30 minutes, handling typical diagnoses such as anxiety, depression, personality disorders, and trauma.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct new patient appointments, typically 60-90 minutes in duration.
• Manage established patient appointments, typically 30 minutes in duration.
• Address typical diagnoses including anxiety, depression, personality disorders, and trauma.

• Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only)
• Patients per day: 12-14
• LOA: 126 Days
• Staffing Mix: The behavioral health team comprises a board-certified adult psychiatrist, one psychologist, two MSW & LIMHP therapists, and a PMHNP. Support staff includes a front desk team, intake coordinator, 1 RN, 2 LPNs, and an office manager.
