We are seeking an experienced Radiation Oncologist for a locum tenens opportunity in Ohio. This 2-day assignment, commencing Oct 16, 2023, with potential for additional days, involves an 8 AM to 5 PM schedule primarily focused on follow-up appointments and machine SBRT cases within an outpatient clinic setting. The role requires managing an active patient load and collaborating with an existing support team.
Responsibilities and Duties
Conduct follow-up appointments for patients.
Manage machine SBRT cases, excluding SRS, utilizing the facilitys linear accelerator.
Cover approximately 20-30 patients daily for machine SBRT.
Adhere to an 8 AM to 5 PM shift schedule.
Provide comprehensive care in an outpatient clinic environment.

Board Certification: Radiation Oncology
Other Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
EMR: Cerner
Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only)
Patient Volume: Approximately 5 follow-ups in addition to machine coverage.
LOA: 2 Days
Staffing Mix: Physics support onsite every other week, scheduled in conjunction with new SBRT starts; two therapists on staff; one Radiation Oncology Physician on staff.
