Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for a 120-day assignment starting Aug 1, 2026, in Missouri. This role involves comprehensive OB/GYN care within a busy OB/ED, managing both low and high-risk pregnancies, performing various deliveries and gynecological procedures, and evaluating postpartum patients.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive care for low and high-risk pregnancies.
  • Perform FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE.
  • Conduct and interpret OB Ultrasounds (Level I/Screening viability and Level II/Targeted anatomic).
  • Perform Amniocentesis.
  • Manage routine deliveries including vaginal, low forceps, and c-section decision-making.
  • Handle complicated deliveries such as c-sections, breech, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs.
  • Perform repair of third and fourth-degree lacerations.
  • Execute laparoscopic diagnostic/minor procedures, including tubal ligation and chronal tubation.
  • Evaluate patients who are pregnant up to six weeks postpartum.
  • Work within a OB/ED, managing a daily patient volume of 40-60 individuals with concerns like labor symptoms, vaginal bleeding, abdominal pain, high blood pressure/preeclampsia, decreased fetal movement, and ruptured membranes.
  • Collaborate with APP support (18 hours daily), sonographer support (18 hours daily), and tech support (12 hours daily).


Additional Information
