Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Family Practice Needed in GA

Job Description

Our client in Georgia is seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for an impactful 60-day assignment, beginning Jun 10, 2026. This role involves clinic work with approximately 20 patient encounters per shift, operating on a Monday through Friday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM. The successful candidate will also undergo Epic training, which is a prerequisite for starting after credentialing.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide clinic work with approximately 20 patient encounters per shift
• Complete Epic training, which is scheduled every other week from 8 AM to 4:30 PM
• Ensure Epic training is completed after credentialing and before the start date
• Adhere to the protocol agreement with the GCMB

Additional Information

• Board Certification required in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP)
