Job Description

We are seeking an experienced OB/GYN Physician for a 62-day assignment in Vermont, starting Jan 27, 2027. This role involves 24-hour out-of-house call, encompassing comprehensive obstetric care from routine prenatal visits to labor and delivery, alongside a broad range of gynecological services including minimally invasive surgery, family planning, and management of various women's health conditions.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide 24-hour out-of-house call with independent inpatient rounding.
  • Manage routine prenatal care.
  • Conduct childbirth education classes.
  • Offer lactation consultation.
  • Perform VBAC attempts.
  • Provide 24/7 coverage of labor and delivery.
  • Administer epidurals upon request 24/7.
  • Perform minimally invasive gynecological surgery.
  • Treat urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse.
  • Evaluate infertility.
  • Offer comprehensive family planning and contraceptive counseling.
  • Manage abnormal pap smears.
  • Evaluate and treat pelvic pain.
  • Manage vulvar disease.
  • Perform annual well women examinations.
  • Treat menstrual abnormalities.
  • Screen and treat sexually transmitted diseases.


Additional Information

  • Required Board Certifications: Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Cases include OB/GYN, Surgical GYN, and Operative Delivery.
  • Experience with Preterm Labor, Gestational Diabetes, Preeclampsia, Postpartum Care, Routine Prenatal Care, C-Sections, and Vaginal Deliveries.
