Job Description

Our client in North Carolina is seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 30-day assignment starting Aug 13, 2026. This role involves providing urgent care to patients of all ages, including minor procedures, with the schedule to be determined. The Physician Assistant will be responsible for managing a high volume of patients, often as the sole provider.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform required procedures including incision and drainage (I&D), laceration repair, and ear irrigation.
  • Provide urgent care for adults and pediatrics (6 months+), treating patients of all ages.
  • Manage high-volume patient care, seeing and treating all patients as the sole provider.
  • See urgent care patients of all ages (6 months and up) as the sole provider, averaging 40 to 60 patients per day.
  • Utilize Epic EMR for all patient visits.


Additional Information

  • Required Board Certification: Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP)
  • EMR System: Epic
  • Must handle high volume patient care.
