Job Description

Our client is seeking an Anesthetist for a 30-day assignment in Michigan, beginning Jul 13, 2026. This role involves a rotating schedule, with shifts daily from 7am-3pm. You will be responsible for conducting pre-anesthesia assessments, administering anesthesia care, monitoring patients, and providing post-anesthesia care, managing a diverse range of surgical cases including adult general, obstetrical, and neurosurgical.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop comprehensive care plans.
  • Administer general, regional, or monitored anesthesia care.
  • Monitor patients during procedures and manage anesthesia complications effectively.
  • Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management.
  • Maintain accurate documentation per hospital and regulatory standards.
  • Manage a variety of surgical cases including adult general, obstetrical, and neurosurgical.
  • Perform procedures such as arterial line insertion, IV insertions, and floor intubations.
  • Provide services across Cardiovascular, Vascular, Neuro, General, ENT (limited peds), Urology, Ortho, Robotic, Colo-Rectal, Podiatry, and Plastic specialties.
  • Cover out-of-department services including Non-invasive cardiology, OB, Endoscopy, and Radiology (CT MRI).

  • Required Board Certifications: National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
