Locum Tenens Physician - Hospitalist Needed in ME

Job Description

We are actively seeking a dedicated Hospitalist Physician for a 120-day assignment in Maine, commencing Aug 3, 2026. The role involves splitting coverage between a main hospital and a critical access hospital, working 7a-5p shifts. You will manage approximately 15 adult inpatient patients daily across both facilities, including a level 3 trauma center, handling an average of 2–4 admissions and discharges, and performing vent management.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Split coverage between a main hospital and a critical access hospital.
• Manage approximately 15 adult inpatient patients daily.
• Handle an average of 2–4 admissions and 2–4 discharges per day.
• Provide care at a level 3 trauma center with CT surgery and oncology.
• Perform vent management as required.
