Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Anesthetist for a 30-day assignment in Missouri, starting Jun 8, 2026. This role involves managing an 18-suite operating room, 2 obstetrics suites, and 3 endoscopy labs, with a schedule combining 24-hour call and 12-hour shifts. The selected professional will handle a diverse range of cases, contributing essential expertise to our client's team.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide anesthesia services across an 18-suite operating room, 2 obstetrics suites, and 3 endoscopy labs.
  • Manage a diverse range of cases including Cardiac, Orthopedic, Complex Vascular, Head, Spine, Neuro, OB, Pediatric, Regional, and Thoracic procedures.
  • Supervise CRNA staff.
  • Perform General, Spinal, Epidural, and Regional Anesthesia for adult, pediatric, neonatal, and trauma patients.
  • Handle specialized cases such as Obstetrical, Neurosurgical (Head, Spine), Open Heart, Thoracic (excluding open heart), and Complex Orthopedic and Vascular procedures.
  • Utilize various pain management techniques including post-operative epidural, post-operative extremity blocks, epidural steroid injections (Lumbar, Cervical), and transforaminal procedures (Lumbar, Cervical) with x-ray guidance.
  • Perform ventilation management and evaluate and manage acute volume/blood pressure issues.
  • Execute advanced procedures such as Central Line placement, Arterial Line placement, and PA Catheter placement.
