Job Description

We are actively seeking a highly skilled Anesthetist for a 100-day locum tenens assignment in Missouri, commencing on Sep 7, 2026. This role involves 10-hour shifts with a focus on expanding weekend operating room coverage, encompassing complex neuro, spines, ENT, and EP cases. The successful candidate will be proficient in procedures such as arterial line insertions, intubations, and ventilator management, working under medical direction.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Work under the medical direction of an Anesthesiologist.
• Expand weekend operating room coverage, including seven ORs on Saturdays (plus OB) and seven ORs on Sundays (plus OB).
• Manage complex cases involving neurosurgery, spine procedures, ENT, and electrophysiology.
• Perform arterial line insertions, intubations, and ventilator management.

Additional Information

• Board certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
• Experience with Epic EMR system.
