Our client in Texas is seeking a skilled Anesthetist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment, commencing Nov 1, 2026. This position offers a stable 5x8 Monday-Friday weekly schedule with no call or weekend responsibilities. The successful candidate will provide medical direction for general surgery cases, focusing on bread-and-butter procedures, and will not be involved in hearts, pediatrics, or obstetrics.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide medical direction.
  • Manage a variety of general surgery cases, often referred to as bread and butter procedures.
  • Cases exclude hearts, pediatrics, and obstetrics.
  • This role does not require performing blocks, spinals, or epidurals.
