Job Description

Our client is seeking an Anesthesiology Physician Assistant for an exciting 269-day assignment in PA, starting Apr 20, 2026. This role involves comprehensive anesthesia care, including assessing, preparing, and managing patients for a wide range of procedures such as general, regional, epidural, spinal, and IV regional blocks, along with invasive monitoring and airway management, primarily within a Trauma facility.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assess, prepare, and manage patients for anesthesia care in the perioperative/procedural period.
  • Develop and implement anesthetic plans.
  • Perform history and physical.
  • Obtain informed consent.
  • Perform general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, spinal anesthesia, and IV regional blocks.
  • Provide monitored anesthesia care (MAC).
  • Perform invasive monitoring placement and airway management.
  • Manage cases including general, orthopedics, trauma, plastics, neurosurgery, pediatrics, endoscopy, NORA, robotic surgery, gynecology, and ENT.
  • Care will not involve hearts, OB, or blocks.


Additional Information

  • Required Board Certification: National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Minimum 1 year of experience required.
