Job Description

We are seeking an Anesthesiologist to join our client for a 2-day assignment in New Jersey, starting Jun 24, 2026. This locum tenens opportunity involves providing essential anesthesiology services within an outpatient surgicenter, focusing on adult general and regional anesthesia cases.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive anesthesiology services in an outpatient surgicenter setting.
  • Perform general anesthesia for adult patients.
  • Administer regional and spinal anesthesia as required or preferred.
  • Manage 4 to 6 patients per shift.
  • Utilize paper charting for patient records.
  • Supervise CRNAs when preferred.
  • Execute ventilation management and evaluate/manage acute volume/BP issues as preferred.
  • Perform pain management techniques and post-op extremity blocks when preferred.
  • Note: This role does not involve pediatric, neonatal, trauma, obstetrical, neurosurgical, open heart, thoracic, complex vascular, or complex orthopedic cases.
