Locum Tenens Dentist - MD Needed in MD

Job Description

We are seeking a Dentist for an engaging 104-day assignment in Maryland, starting Sep 14, 2026. The schedule involves working Monday through Thursday from 8 AM to 4 PM, and Fridays from 8 AM to 2 PM. Our client seeks a skilled professional to provide comprehensive general dentistry services, focusing on diagnosing optimal treatment plans and delivering a strong patient experience with a production-driven approach.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Diagnose and develop optimal treatment plans for patients, independent of insurance status.
• Perform a wide range of general dentistry procedures, including crowns, bridges, root canals, placing implants, surgical extractions, dentures, and fillings.
• Maintain a productive schedule and deliver high-quality patient care efficiently.
• Demonstrate excellent chairside manner and provide a strong patient experience.
• Identify and complete same-day dentistry/treatment whenever clinically appropriate.

Additional Information

• Minimum of 5 years of experience is required.
• The EMR system utilized is OpenDental.
• The client has a preference for candidates open to a temp-to-perm arrangement.
• This role operates in an outpatient clinical setting.
