Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician Assistant for an 8-day assignment with our client in Kansas, starting May 8, 2026. This role involves serving as the sole provider in the emergency room while also working in a clinic, both located within the same building. The Physician Assistant will manage a diverse patient panel, focusing on standard family medicine cases, including a strong demographic of adult and geriatric Medicare patients.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Function as the sole provider in the emergency room.
- Work alongside a secondary mid-level provider in the clinic.
- Provide care in both the emergency room and clinic, located in the same facility.
- Address standard family medicine cases in the clinic, such as colds, coughs, flu, and hypertension.
- Care for a strong Medicare patient panel, primarily adults and geriatrics.
- Manage acute pediatric needs as required.
