Job Description

Our client in North Dakota is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a dynamic 8-day assignment starting Apr 24, 2026. This role involves providing sole provider coverage for both Emergency Department and Inpatient floor cases, with shifts structured as consecutive 24-hour periods. The Physician will manage a varied patient load, performing critical emergency and inpatient procedures.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive sole physician coverage for both the Emergency Department and Inpatient floor.
  • Manage a diverse patient population, addressing emergent and acute inpatient conditions.
  • Perform all necessary emergency medicine and inpatient procedures.
  • Maintain continuous on-site presence during consecutive 24-hour shifts.
  • Oversee an average daily census of 9 ED patients and 6 inpatient patients.


Additional Information

  • Board certification in Emergency Medicine is required.
  • Proficiency with Epic EMR system is preferred.
  • Must be comfortable performing a wide range of Emergency Medicine and Inpatient procedures.
  • The facility does not have ICU beds.
