Locum Tenens Physician - Emergency Medicine Needed in OH

Job Description

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for our client in Ohio. This 2-day assignment, starting May 18, 2026, involves solo night Emergency Room coverage from 7pm-7am. The physician will manage a range of cases in a Critical Access Hospital, focusing on general ER duties without trauma.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide night Emergency Room coverage from 7pm-7am
• Serve as the solo physician for the shift
• Manage approximately 8000 annual visits
• Care for patients in a Critical Access Hospital
• Address cases including, but not limited to, the following procedures:
• Central Line Placement
• Intubation
• Chest Tube Insertion
• Lumbar Puncture
• Suturing
• Incision & Drainage
• Procedural Sedation
• FAST Ultrasound
• Defibrillation/Cardioversion
• Splinting/Casting

Additional Information

• Required Board Certifications: Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine
