Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day assignment with our client in Alaska, commencing Aug 24, 2026. This role involves providing care across shifts such as 8am-5pm and 10:30am-7pm. The practitioner will manage a diverse patient caseload, addressing conditions ranging from respiratory infections and flu to UTIs, acute back/joint pain, minor injuries, and common complaints like headaches, skin rashes, and anxiety.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Diagnose and treat respiratory infections
  • Manage flu symptoms and provide appropriate care
  • Address urinary tract infections (UTIs)
  • Evaluate and treat nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea
  • Assess and manage acute back and joint pain
  • Provide care for minor injuries and sprains
  • Diagnose and treat various skin rashes
  • Manage headaches and migraines
  • Screen for and treat sexually transmitted infections (STIs)
  • Diagnose and treat ear infections
  • Provide support and management for anxiety and situational stress
